Society is Whom We Give to
Our second principle or letter is "Society," and it is to whom we give back. Sigma Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc.'s national philanthropy is Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. We believe in the importance of cooperating with service organizations that strive for similar goals and volunteer in many ways different ways to give back to the community.

What does the purple ribbon mean?
The purple ribbon is a symbol of pain and suffering that reminds many people of the bruises they have sustained from their abusers, but purple is also a color and symbol of hope.
It lets victims know we care and want to fight to end domestic violence.
Project Safe Inc.

Porject Safe Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that primarily aids women in Madison, Oconee, Clarke, and Oglethorpe County, but provides aid to women all over GA. Their mission is to work to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing supportive service, systems change advocacy, prevention, and education.

Project Safe Inc. has a thrift store located at 995 Hawthorne Ave #7, Athens, GA 30606, with its proceeds going to Domestic Violence Victims.
